MS Dhoni got engaged to Sakshi

June 5:    The 28-year-old Indian wicket-keeper batsman and Captain MS Dhoni got engaged to Sakshi, a 23-year-oldhotel management student on Saturday June 3rd 2010 at a private ceremony. The most eligible bachelor broke many hearts Yesterday giving every one a shock. Dhoni got married yesterday at a private ceremony in Dehradun. Dhoni married Sakshi Rawat yesterday at around 8:00p.m at a resort in Dehradun. Close relatives and friends of Dhoni attended the marriage. The marriage held at Vishrant Resort in Dehradun.

According to sources Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra, RP Singh, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma were among Dhoni’s cricketer friends who were present at the wedding. And also John Abraham whose a very close friend of Dhoni was also attended the wedding. Dhoni and Sakshi are childhood friends. Dhoni and Sakshi, who hails from Aurangabad, had been school friends at DAV, Shamily in Ranchi. Dhoni and Sakshi’s families tried to keep the marriage a secret and a very private affair.
